Meet our Pre-Kindergarten Classrooms

In the pre-kindergarten classrooms at St. James, our theme is “Everything is Awesome...Loving Jesus Brick by Brick”.  We focus on building a foundation for the learning process while developing each student’s love of learning.  Pre-kindergarten students will start to develop foundational phonics through letter recognition, formation and sounds.  Their beginning math skills will start to develop when working on concepts such as sorting, counting, sizing and patterning.  Language and vocabulary continue to be developed through a literacy rich curriculum.
