St. James Catholic School is fully accredited by Missouri Nonpublic Accreditation Association. Our Christ-centered curriculum offers exceptional programs. Our teaching is guided by the belief that each child is a unique gift of God, created with extraordinary gifts and talents. We strive to nurture these talents and gifts not only through religious instruction but by encouraging all students to follow the example of Christ in all that they think, say, and do. We begin each day with a prayer and continue to emphasize our commitment through many spiritual activities.
We believe in educating the whole child through a curriculum enriched in our faith values. At St. James, we recognize that children vary in learning styles, talents, and abilities, and we foster growth through a variety of teaching methods, learning activities, and practical experiences. We provide children with opportunities to develop their potential for knowledge, self-inquiry, and self-esteem.
"Catholic Education is about working toward
advancing the common good, touching hearts and changing attitudes."
~Pope Francis
